Hyrum Reservoir & State Park Fish Report

Utah Division of Wildlife

Report Date:

http://wildlife.utah.gov

Anglers report good fishing at Hyrum. Those who are having the most success are in boats near the cove on the east side. Shoreline fishing has slowed a bit but is still good for perch. Try using worms on the bottom of the reservoir. Most of the trout have moved away from the rocky dam, but some can still be caught. One angler recently caught a large rainbow at around 9 a.m. using rainbow PowerBait floated about two feet off the bottom. The Hyrum State Park tagged fishing contest will run until Nov. 30. Some of the tagged fish have been caught, but you still have a chance to win prizes. Thanks to Park Manager Chris Bradshaw for the report.
