Report Date:
http://wildlife.utah.govThere is still a lot of ice covering the majority of the pond. Last week's warmer weather melted a lot of the ice near the inlet. There is now open water near the inlet and along the east side. One angler reported great fishing in the inlet using bright-yellow Berkley power eggs with a single small weight. He would let the eggs float to the bottom with about eight inches of leader on the end. Another angler reported good fishing on Nov. 22 using ice jigs and meal worms under a bobber. The wooden steps near the inlet are covered in ice and are very slippery. Please use extreme caution when you walk to the pond from the parking lot.
