Jensen Nature Park Pond Fish Report

Utah Division of Wildlife

Report Date:

Fishing is good, though it can be spotty at times. One angler reported good fishing on the south side of the reservoir using florescent yellow and chartreuse Power Eggs about eight to 12 inches off the bottom. Fly anglers report slow fishing using scuds and leeches. One fly angler, though, caught 16 trout in 1.5 hours using a small jig with a teal head and olive body. Trout are hitting very softly, so they can be easy to miss if you aren't paying close attention. The pond was stocked with 1,248 nine-inch trout on Dec. 1.
