http://www.shogunsportfishing.comToday the Shogun fished Guadalupe Island. Bruce looked down the length of the island and anchored up the boat where we found jumping tuna. The sharks took a few but we managed to boat some nice size yellowfin. The fish bit live sardines fished fly line, beneath the kite and the balloon. Several went over 50#. All in all it was a slow day but there is good sign of tuna at the loop. We hope Neptune flips the switch and these fish go on a bite soon. Right now we are traveling back toward the albacore to finish up the trip. Another layer of albacore in the RSW tanks would do just fine.

The albacore still have our full attention. This morning Bruce had the boat positioned in an area with albacore and bait sign. We caught several then they disappeared for most lof the day. Close to sunset we came across some whales and the albie bite was on! There were fish caught all around. It seems that the fish are on the move and were are now motoring up a few miles to be on the fish tomorrow morning. All on......
