http://www.truckeeriveroutfitters.comFishing is pretty slow for numbers of fish but there are a few big fish being caught. Arlo Townsend, guide for the Reno Fly Shop caught and released a 28 inch 10 pound Brown trout over the past week. With some warmer weather approaching the coming weeks should be pretty good. Fish seem to get active on those warmer winter days.Czech nymphing with Burk's bottom rollors has been affective. Fish are holding in the slower deeper runs right now and very slow deliberate presentations are required.

**It is "fly fishing only" there all winter now. Fish the transition where the lake and stream meet about 8/10th of a mile above the lower bridge. Fish will be staging there to head up the stream to spawn this winter. Look for some Baetis (BWO) #18 mayfly and small midge hatches. Cast anything wet that is a size #10/12 green/olive to working fish. Indicator fishing with very small (#18) nymphs on 6x tippet is very popular there now.......
