Lake Mohave Fish Report 10-10-07

Nevada Department of Wildlife

Report Date:

Windy conditions have slowed fishing activity at Willow Beach. Trout fishing has been sluggish though persistent anglers have caught a few fish. Other fishermen managed to reel in catfish, carp and some striped bass while fishing downstream from Willow Beach. At Cottonwood Cove, anglers are finding improved fishing over recent weeks. Both shoreline and boat anglers have been catching fish during all hours of the day. Early mornings and late evenings are still most productive. Catfish are taking prepared baits fished on the bottom while stripers have been hitting baits trolled behind boats or stillfished at depths from 15 to 60 feet.
