Lake is scheduled this week to receive 2,000 pounds of trout from Mount Lassen. Trout fishing is best at the south end of the lake. Shore fishers do well in Harry’s Cove with garlic-scented chartreuse Power Bait. Boaters troll at the south end. Most get three to five fish per outing.  There are catfish still on the prowl near the tower. (925) 284-9669
