Lake level is 68% of capacity. Water temp is in the low to mid 50’s
Trolling around the big island, especially the south side and between camp 5 and the island has been resulting in limits plus being landed. Succesful method is trolling with
Red Dot Frog or Dick Nite Copper Red Head, about 10 feet down and 150 feet behind the boat going about 1.5 to 1.7 mph. Bank and Fly fishing is still being reported as slow.
Fish that are being caught are in the 18 to 21 inch range.
Old Camp 5 is currently the only ramp with a dock. Honker Cove is not open (hopefully will open early May) and Lightning Tree is very shallow and no dock.
