The water temperature is 70 degrees. Stripers were the hot bite of this week with quite a few big ones coming in. They’re still biting off anchovies, mackerel and chicken liver in various places such as the Dam, Heron Bay, East Beach and the Narrows. Not too many signs of bass at the moment but they will hit off of A-rigs, Senkos, and dropshoting along the banks of coves and tully lines. Trout bite is still slow but there are still chances of catching them. No signs of catfish and there was a trout plant on May 1 from Mt. Lassen of 500 lbs. (925) 449-5201
