Fishing was okay this week at the Lafayette Reservoir even though we had 2000 pounds planted by the Department of Fish and Wildlife and 750 pounds by Mt Lassen.  It could be because the water temperature at 4 feet is already 68.6 degrees Fahrenheit and 51.3 degrees at 30 feet.  The strong and erratic wind and abruptly switching temperatures have definitely been creating issues, especially for those on boat.
