hottest bait this past week was Berkley Mice Tails in a Pink/White pattern using a small size 10 mosquito hook.  Thomas Buoyant Gold/Red has been as steady as always as has various Kastmasters.  If you are a fly fisherman or like to toss a fly and a bubble using a spinning rod, look at using a Blue Dunn or a Flying Black Ant as they have been producing some nice trout this past week.  The weather looks to be turning towards summer, as overnight temps have been in the 40′s and 65-70′s during the day.  The water levels have stayed strong and have even increased by about a foot this past week as Southern Cal Edison let some water out of the upper lakes this past week.  Silver Lake (760) 648-7525
