http://norcal.fishreports.comAnglers this week saw some great results using Power Baits as our water temperatures are starting to warm and the fish are starting to go a little deeper in the waters. Rainbow Garlic Glitter, Salmon Peach, Salmon Egg Red and Gulp Pinch Crawlers brought in lots of stringers full this past week. Mice Tails also continue to see great results as well. Bugs have sprung up this week and Anglers killed it down on Rush Creek using Dry Fly Mosquitos, Elk’s Hare, Small Flying Black Ants and Sierra Brite Dots. Think about using a dropper off those dry flies, it will help produce some nice smaller native trout out of the Creek. The Silver Lake Youth Fly Fishing Academy was this week and those young Anglers slayed the trout down on Rush Creek this past mid week. Get out there and give it a try using a fly rod or a spinning rod with a bubble. Don’t forget about using Night Crawlers early and late throughout the day when the sun is not beating on the water.
