The Main rec is great spot to fish, fish from the pier or along the front of the gazebos. Boaters best bet would be to go to the Rock Wall and Sandy Point. Rainbow or Garlic Power-Bait for the Trout is the best. Fish your Power bait using a sliding sinker rig. If the bite slows try using inflated night crawlers to catch both trout, catfish and bass. The Broken-Back Fire-Tiger Rapala, and Kastmasters are being used to catch trout on the troll.

The Main rec, Scow canyon and boat launch being the better spots for Bass. A few big bass have been caught on little crappie jigs.

Catfish have been biting in the back of Scow canyon and the preserve on Nightcrawlers, Anchovies and Chicken livers. We have started planting catfish so the bite should be improving.

Crappie and Blue gill bite has slowed. There are still a few being caught at the boat launch and in a couple of the coves.. Fishing using mini jigs, Atomic Teasers or floating red worms on bobbers works the best. (510) 223-1661
