The trout bite may be on the upswing. Continuing plants have kept the lake full of trout. Fish are being caught trolling. The water is super clear. Try trolling jointed Rapalas or Kastmasters. If you choose to bait fish try down in the Pines area with some Power Bait.
Lots of bass are being caught with Kastmasters and little spoons. The size of bass are still smaller grade but there is still the chance of catching a big one. Try fishing Scow Canyon or down by the Boat launch. Catfish have been biting well in the Boat Launch area. From a boat fish in the coves directly across the lake from the Marina. From the shore fish on the other side of the hill or near Big Point. Soak chicken livers or anchovies.
