Rainbow limits are being caught in the East Cove and south end of the lake on garlic flavored Power Bait and nightcrawlers. Catfish were caught in the center of the lake near the tower with chicken livers. On Nov. 20 Mt. Lassen planted 1,000 pounds of rainbow trout, 10% trophy size.  The next trout plant is scheduled for the week of Nov. 30 when 1800 pounds from Department of Fish and Game will be delivered.
