Clarity is minimal with green debris and the temperature is 58 degrees. Majority of the trout are being caught at the East Beach on a variety of baits from Power bait to nightcrawlers. Not many boaters will catch trout but they will catch stripers on anchovies or lures around the Dam or Heron Bay. For big stripers, throw swim baits or big top waters in trout patterns over in the Narrows or where they may be big groups of trout. Some smallmouth and largemouth are being caught over in Swallow Bay by big boulders on soft plastics or crank baits. You can try coves for catfish with chicken liver or anchovies. There was a trout plant on 11/25 from Mt. Lassen of 1,200 lbs.  (925) 449-5201
