BENICIA: Sturgeon are plentiful but most are over-sized fish. Sturgeon are found from the Mohtball Fleet to Montezuma Slough. A few stripers are in the same area. Bass are closer to Pittsburg. Some are in the 12 to 15 pound range. Shoreline anglers continue to get flounder. Pile worms work best.?? Benicia Bait (707) 745-4921
FRANK'S TRACT: Striper and black bass bite is slow. The few being caught are small. The only way to get larger fish is to fish slowly off deep ledges with drop-shots. There can be bass caught on crank baits off points. Hook, Line & Sinker (925) 625-2441
PITTSBURG: Striper bite was good last week but a bit slower this week. Bass in the 7 pound class are being caught near the Firing Line. Broad Slough is also worth a try. Dockside Bait (925) 252-0151
