BENICIA: Anglers going to the Rock Wall in San Pablo Bay are getting sturgeon in five to six feet of water. Mothball Fleet also has been good. There are good sturgeon prospects from Big Cut out to San Pablo Bay. Grass shrimp, ghost shrimp both work. Benicia Bait (707) 745-4921

STOCKTON: Stripers can be caught near Mossdale. Crappie and big redear are starting to be caught on Eight Mile Road at King Island. Jumbo red worms or medium minnows will do the trick. A long cast to deep water is required. (209) 463-1938
TRACY: Live bait or white pearl swim baits will get small stripers. Nothing larger than five pounds and expect a lot of shakers. Black bass tournament on Saturday was won with a 23.45 pound bag with a 10.99 pound big fish. Black and blue jigs and chatter baits did the damage. Next closest bag was 16 pounds.
