The water near the inlet is still clear enough that you can see fish swimming. On Feb. 23, one angler had fair success catching trout near the inlet using a pink San Juan worm during the day, then switching to a blue-winged olive in the late afternoon and evening as the sun started to set. The pond stocked with 2,000 nine-inch trout on Feb. 9.
