Trout bite back on at Lafayette

The trout bite has been good. Lots of big trout are coming in on lures, while dough baits are catching the 1-2lbs size. Needlefish, Kastmasters, Spinners, and Rapalas are working well in south and east cove. Bass are starting to bite, plastics and spinner baits are working well. Else Carposa brought in a 9lb 9oz and a 5lb 8oz trout on Chartreuse Powerbait on 02/26/2015. And Bill Nelson caught a 6lb trout on a lure near the south end. (925) 284-9669
