Rockport Reservoir Fish Port

Utah Division of Wildlife

Report Date:

http://wildlife.utah.gov

Boats are launching, and anglers are picking up some nice trout while trolling Rapalas. Bank fishing is also good by the dam. Remember to complete your quagga self-certification form every time you launch your boat. Deer Creek Reservoir recently tested positive for juvenile quagga mussels, so we need boaters to be extremely diligent. On March 7, Rockport State Park will host Eagle Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be four live raptors, including a bald eagle. Attendees can also enjoy free hot chocolate and hot dogs. Cabela's is a co-sponsor of the event and will be bringing up binoculars you can use for some awesome raptor viewing. Many thanks to Park Manager Joe Donnell for the report.
