We had another great day here with our Soft Steel group. The day started out with a few hook-ups on bigger models, but unfortunately we lost 3 out of 4 shots. Then the current went slack and never really came back around for us. Late in the afternoon we hunted down a bird school and it was game on! We had 25 fish out of it with the majority being over 100lbs with a few in the 150lb range. When the last fish was boated, with just a sliver of daylight left, we ran down another small bird school that turned out to be straight 170-200+ lbers. The stern went bendo with ones hooked that lasted for another 1.5hrs. All the fish were good ones with 2 over the 200lb mark. What a finish for the day! 35 more Tuna into the hold this afternoon with 4 more personal best fish again!
