http://www.ndow.orgTrout fishing has been good this last week at Mojave Narrows Regional Park. The catfish
bite has slowed down from previous weeks.
Trout action has been great this week on both Pelican and Horseshoe Lake. Top spots
include the Horseshoe Lake boathouse and the bridge on Pelican Lake.
The Park stocks 1,000 lbs. of trout every Thursday. The next and final trout plant of the
season will go into Pelican Lake on April 16th.
Popular baits being used are lemon twist and chartreuse varieties of Power Bait. The trout
have also been biting on jigs.
The Mojave Narrows Trout Derby for Kids will be held on April 18, 2015.
