https://www.seaforthlanding.com3/4 day Yellowtail fishing at the Coronado Islands remains steady along with an occasional shot at some jumbo Bonito. Fly-lined sardines, surface iron and yo-yo'd jigs are the preferred methods of angling.
1/2 day fishing is still very good for rockfish but water conditions are improving along the coast and a switch to surface fishing appears to be in the near future.

The Tribute has a 1.5 day trip departing Friday evening fishing for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowtail and more. This trip has a very light load and is a go for sure! The San Diego's 3/4 day trip had very good Yellowtail fishing. 105 yellowtail were landed for 44 anglers.......

Captain Taro aboard the three quarter day boat San Diego has called in an update of 50+ yellowtail. The hot ticket today is the fly lined bait, dropper loop and the yo yo iron. Come prepared with a 30-40# outfit, 2/0 hooks and a variety of yo yo jigs. The morning half day trip aboard the New Seaforth returned with 56 rockfish, 94 red rock cod and limits of fun for 15 anglers.......
