Quarry Lake trout bite slow

Trout bite has been very slow. A migration of cormorants have been haunting the lake. A highlight came Wednesday, however when Mickey Noack of Lake Tahoe landed a 15 pound rainbow while trolling with a Rapala from a kayak. The fish was so large it broke her landing net. (510) 544-3133
