Shad arrive in Butte County

Shad are starting to be caught near Scotty's Landing with shad darts and chartreuse grubs. Water is still on the cold side but as it the water drops it will warm quickly. There is a fair striper bite from Colusa to Princeton. Most are 8 to 9 pounds. Boaters need to be careful due to low water. The Tackle Box (530) 898-9761
