What a day, what a day! 3 boats coming in today with 3 Legendary captains at the helm and 3 separate fish counts that would put lesser captains to shame! Cavanaugh, Ewart and Cavanaugh, sounds like a law firm, and they might need one after the damage the did out on the big blue today!

Between the 3 boats, there were 651 rockfish, 44 lingcod, 5 sheephead, 4 whitefish and 9 cabezon! Spectacular numbers for a spectacular group of guys!

The good times and great counts show no sign of stopping as the weather looks great, the water is warm and the bite is hot! Rumour also has it there may be some gamefish in the vicinity getting ready to bite, but that's still anyone's game! 

One thing is for certain, when the fish are in the mood to bite, they like what we're serving up here at Ventura Sportfishing!
