Trout fishing continues to be good. Best spots are the East Beach and the Hetch Hetchy campsite. Trollers are getting trout 15 to 20 feet below the surface. Striper bite is starting to pick up. Catfish also are starting to stir. An 18 pound catfish was caught by Michael Killev of Hayward. Biggest trout was 7.8 pounds caught by Maxwell Flores of Mountain View, using a Kastmaster near the East Beach. (925) 449-5201
