Bass and catfish action is rated as good. Shad are near the banks and gamefish are right behind. Use spinner baits, Rat-l-traps, or small swim baits for bass to 7 pounds and large cats. Biggest fish last week was a 19.5 pound catfish landed by Jim McCann of Cape Cod, MA. Crappie and bluegill can be had with mini-jigs or worms offered near rocky outcroppings or docks. (805) 438-1522
