Trout and catfish topped the charts this week as limits were caught from both boats and the
shorelines. Trolling by the dam is still the best bet for boaters while E Point and the launch
point were the hot spots for shore fisherman. Rapalas, Kastmasters, and Flicker Shad lures
brought in trout like clockwork. Nightcrawlers and greenpumpkin trout dough worked the best
from the banks. Catfish bit mackerel and worms in every cove on the lake this week and even
hit on spinners at the mouth of Clark Canyon. The smallmouth bite was great on the west end
of E Point for shore fishermen while The Flats continue to be the best area for both smallies and largies.

Kastmasters and Rapalas are absolute necessities this year for anglers wanting a trophy fish. The bass bit well this week at the mouth of Clark Canyon, the west side of E Point, and along banks by Drake Cove.Deep cranks......

Gold and chrome Kastmasters and Phoebes also brought in a decent amount of fish this week. E point and Harvey Bay have been hot spots for both smallmouth and largemouth.
