Great day on the water here at Ventura Sportfishing today with lots of differnet species coming aboard and a great time being had by everyone. First, we had the Amigo out on an overnight outer islands trip and they wound up landing 18 white seabass, along with many other species including calico bass, sheephead and barracuda.

The Island Spirit departed from the landing at 5:00 am and got straight to it, hooking 25 and landing 15 fish. These yellows are nothing to scoff at, they were all in the 30-35 lb. class.
