Catfish bite is improving. Largemouth also are starting to bite. Big fish of the week was an 8.3 pound catfish caught by Malcolm Fey from a float tube. A 6.10 cat was hooked by Jeff Misguez of Santa Clara. Bass in the 1 to 2 pound range are being caught in Horseshoe Bay near Fishermen’s Row. Worms or frog lures. (510) 544-3133
