Hey folks- Yesterday we woke up on the spot this morning and started around gray-light. It took about half an hour for us to get our first bite and shortly after hooked another fish. The first two fish landed were Yellowfin tuna and then the Bluefin moved in. The bite started off slow, barely keeping one going- thne around 9 am, it picked up and we able to keep at least one going at all times. The grade of the Bluefin was outstanding with the average fish being about 35#. Our top three jackpot fish were beauties, 70, 62 and 60 pounds. The action was not fast and furious but it was a good pace all day and we ended up with 92 Bluefin and 2 Yellowfin total Thanks again to Jimmy Roberts for putting the trip together and we look for to taking Butch's Big Fish Charter group out again next year. We leave on a 1.5 day tonight; we will check in tomorrow hopefully with another great report.
