Report Date:
http://norcal.fishreports.comThe kokanee fishing at Shaver Lake is winding down, this is normal for this time of the year says Dick Nichols, of Dick's Fishing Charters. A few spawning kokanee will be caught here and there for perhaps a couple weeks, but it is time to target trout. The trout bite continues to be great, but the fish are a tad smaller. Everyone is limiting out on our trips. Nichols is fishing the island, Eagle Point and the Stevenson Creek areas with great success at about 20 to 40 feet deep.
