Slow, steady salmon bite in Benicia

A dozen salmon per day are being caught from the shores of the state park and another half-dozen per day from First Street. Small keeper stripers can be caught with pile worms, blood worms, grass shrimp or anchovies. Some will strike salmon spinners. Sturgeon are being caught in Grizzly Bay. Eel is the best bait.
