Tactics/Bait: Some of the most productive lures were Thomas Buoyants, Panther Martins and Kastmasters. Mice Tails and Sierra Slammers were hooking fish this week. Jig colors reported to be working well were orange and green. If you plan on trolling, I'd tie on a Tasmanian Devil or a Needlefish. The top Powerbait colors were Rainbow, Salmon Egg and Yellow. In the creek try Salmon Eggs, small spinners or Marvel Flies. The hot location this week was the South Shore. Alternative locations to try would be the Inlet, North Shore, Jetty/Outlet Area and Hangman's Tree.
Here is a list of other baits/lures that can be productive: Panther Martins, Tasmanian Devils, green or brown Marvel Fly Lures, Kastmasters, NeedleFish, Roostertails, and garlic scent on Powerbait.
Here is a list of recommended flies:
Dry Flies: Adams, Female Adams, Cutter's Caddis, Elk Hair Caddis, Stimulators, Black/Red Ants, Sierra Bright Dot, Royal Coachman and Hoppers.
Streamers: Wooly Bugger (black, brown, olive, or green), Mutuka (black, brown, olive, or green), Hornberg, and Muddler Minnows.
Wet Flies(Nymphs): Prince Nymph, Flashback Pheasant Tail, Hare's Ear, Zebra Midge (red and black), Copper John (red and copper) and San Juan Worm (brown or red).
