The Halloween rains increased flows and slowed fishing effort but it is on the drop and should be back in prime shape soon. Now is peak of the fall Chinook season and there are fall Chinook throughout the system, with new fish on the way in. All of the usual techniques, such as bobber fishing, divers and bait, and back bouncing should be effective.
Due to a wetland restoration project between the tidewaters of the Trask and Wilson Rivers, public access to the Wilson River tidewater from the end of Goodspeed road is currently closed.
