Report Date:
http://www.dfw.state.or.usFall Chinook fishing is fair to good on the Trask. The run is at its peak, and the river has been fishing well this season – so it’s just a matter of hitting the right conditions and the right day. North Coast rivers jumped up about a foot and a half Sunday night. They are still on the way up and are predicted to peak early Wednesday morning, so the Trask should be back in good shape by the weekend. All of the usual techniques, such as bobber fishing, divers and bait, and back bouncing should be effective.
Remember that the Dam Hole (MP 7) to Blue Ridge Creek is closed to angling this time of year.
