The bass bite is still doing pretty good, top water action is still the most productive. Bluegill fish has been great for the few that have been showing up. Brian Moore of Inglewood says the bluegill are some of the healthiest he has seen a while. Cat fishing has been picking up.

The bass is on John Taylor, he caught a nice limit of bass with a total weight of 22.46 lbs. During the day the bass are chasing the fry with the top water action being the most productive. Cat fishing is doing well with a couple of fishermen reporting limits. Bluegill fishermen are still finding some nice schools with several limits being reported. If you haven't made it to El Capitan, you are missing a great evening bite! Bass are crashing the surface. Only a few fisherman are looking for bluegill and they are doing well. Fishing overall has been good. A few catfish have been hooked up, but the fishermen were not prepared for the size of the fish. ......
