This past weeks cooling air temps. slowed the bass bite some. Although, by Sunday the fish were back on the chew. One angler reported 9 fish in the last 2 hours on that same day, fishing fly-lined plastics tight to the bank. It was also reported that there were-largemouth in 20' to 30' depth that were biting drop shotted robo worms on main lake points. Local angler Sean "Catfish" Ives of Lakeside hooked into a giant bluecat, that eventually broke him off in the trees in the Barona arm. I've estimated the weight at 50 to 60 lbs. Panfish went M.I.A. last week.
