Report Date:
http://www.thetroutfitter.com/fshreport.htmlWater Conditions: Good
June Lake, Gull, and Silver Lake are all in full summer swing, and the fishing conditions are good. Grant lake is fairly low, and the water temps are up. Rush Creek is running low and clear, with higher temps downstream of Grant Lake.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches:
Gull and Silver have been the most productive lakes for fly fishing. Hanging a variety of midge patterns and nymphs under a bobber has been producing fish at both lakes, but has been especially productive at Gull. Pulling a streamer along the weed beds at Silver lake with Callibaetis and Damsel patterns has been good early to mid morning. Middle of the day, action has slowed a bit, but the last hour of light has been good for dry fly fishing on Rush Creek, with good Caddis hatches coming off.
