GENERAL CONDITIONS
The weather has been HOT and has slowed trout fishing. As the temperatures continue to increase through the summer, the remaining trout will head for deep, cold water, so you will need to either be in a boat or fishing in deep water to get to them.
Water Temperature: 55 degrees, depending on depth.
Water Clarity: Visibility seems to vary between 10-15 feet.
Boaters around the lake are still catching trout in the deeper waters, but as the water temperatures rise, it will harder to catch the trout from shore. The bass are starting to come into the shallows and build nests, court, and spawn. If you throw a lure, they may hit it hard and put up a great fight.
