Yellowtail Limits

Hello everyone;

 Our morning started out with quality Yellowtail biting in the dark.  After a few jumbos, the bite stopped like someone turned off the switch.  At sunrise, things didn’t improve, so we pulled the anchor and started moving north.  We made a few pass over a few high spots, but nothing was biting.  So we made the move, and boy did the move pay off.  We had good Yellowtail fishing until first call for dinner.

Most of the Yellowtail were in the 12 to 15 pound range, with a few going to 25 pounds.  We also added 1 Wahoo, 3 Grouper, 47 Yellowfin, and 2 Dorado for our day of fishing.  We will start making our move north tomorrow, looing for kelps or anything that is floating.

Weather today was overcast, flat seas, and warm.  This is one thing we can’t complain about, and that’s the weather for this trip.  So with that, we will keep you up dated on our daily catch and weather.  Team R/p.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.
