Hello everyone, well lets start with our weather. The beat goes on, that's right our weather continues to be wonderful. Flat seas, clear skies, and very warm days. But enough about the weather, lets talk about fishing. Today was the first day that the life on the bank wanted to bite. We had a very good day of fishing, with Wahoo on the prowl and Yellowfin in the hunt. Our morning started out with Frank Harbin landing a 160 pound Yellowfin tuna, and then things just got better as the day went on. Stan Bonillas landed two fish over 200 pounds, Richard Freeman got on the board with his first 200 pound fish for the trip. But the big fish honor goes to Les Quan. Not only did Les land his personal best. Les had never caught a fish over 200 pounds, but today was his day. His fish would tape out at 272 pounds (est wt). Les also landed another 2 fish over the century mark. Last but not least, Del Yaryan caught another giant Yellowfin, and it tapped out at 225 pounds. All day long you could see Yellowfin chasing Flying fish all over the bank. Most of our fish are in the 160 to over 200 pound range. We did stop on a school that was in the 50 to 90 pound range, but then we went right back to the giants. Billy tried something new this trip, but he asked me not to say any thing about it, so you have to go fishing with us to find out what Billy's new trick to get giants really is. We still have 6 full days of fishing left, and I'm hoping that tomorrow will bring more giant Yellowfin to the boat. We did put another 13 Wahoo in the hole today, but when you have giant Yellowfin on your mind, there's nothing else that really matters. We are now trying to catch our flyers for tomorrow adventure. So until tomorrow wish us luck and we will keep you updated on our up coming events.

The R/p crew.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.
