Hello everyone; Well after a 3 day Bluefin trip, we are moving south again. Sorry for now reports from the last 4 days, but we have been having problems with KVH, so until that gets fixed, we will be reports on and off. We departed on our first 8 day of the fall season, the Wahoo Special. With reports on the down side from the boats south of the boarder, we just don’t know we are headed yet. Our weather is beautiful, with a slight breeze out of the northwest, blue skies, and a bit warm. With 28 passengers and a good load of bait we are hoping things will change for the better.
But let me talk about our last 4 days of fishing on the last two trip. We had excellent Bluefin tuna fishing our first 3 day trip, and the second was a bit tough. We say tons of Bluefin tuna, we stopped on many school, with them not showing any interests in our baits, until the last school bite for us. Most of the Bluefin were in the 25 to 35 pound range, and it save the trip for us.
But we are now headed south in search for Wahoo being the prime target for us. So until tomorrow wish us luck. Team R/p.
