The bite is picking up for black bass, striped bass, and catfish all over the Boulder Basin. Black bass anglers are reporting success using jerkbaits, jigs, and soft plastics. A variety of swimbaits and anchovies are tempting stripers from both shore and boat. Catfish are eager to take anchovies throughout Government Wash. In the Virgin Basin, anglers using tube jigs are finding schools of crappie.
