The Fall river has been fishing well. There are lots of fish spread throughout the river so exploring some spots you haven’t before may work to your advantage. There are lots of larger fish in the river as well and they seem to like little stripped buggers. Nymphing has been picking up lots of fish with two-bits, pheasant tails, copper johns, and mops being some patterns we like. Working the downed timber can be tough on the fly count but entice some eats from larger fish hunkered down under cover. Dry fly opportunities are waning and won’t be around much longer but having a selection of caddis, PMD’s, and BWO’s would be smart incase you find yourself in the right place at the right time.
