Targeting yellow perch continues to be your best bet and fishing should be fair in September and October. Fish sampling by Bureau of Reclamation in the last few years has shown incredible densities of yellow perch and some larger crappie. Use small hooks and bait for the perch as most are small with small mouths.‌

The reservoir is 26 percent full. ‌

Gerber Reservoir is a large turbid reservoir with good bank access. Most of the reservoir is on BLM property. Open all year.

Emigrant Reservoir: Emigrant is 33 percent full, dropping five feet since last week
Fish Lake : Fish Lake is 48 percent full
Howard Prairie Reservoir: Howard Prairie is at 39 percent full and dropping
Hyatt Lake: Hyatt is 44 percent full and dropping
Lost Creek Lake: Lost Creek dropped six feet in the last week as part of the annual drawdown
Rogue River- Lower: Anglers are picking up quite a few Chinook in the estuary
Rogue River- Upper: The release from Lost Creek Reservoir is 1950 cfs and 56F
Willow Lake: Willow is still 74 percent full
Fourmile Lake: ODFW stocked the lake with trophy and legal rainbow trout
Sprague River: Flows are at 148 cfs
North Fork Sprague River: Water temperatures have increased slightly
Willow Valley Reservoir: If any fish survived the drought last year, they should be biting
Wood River: Best fishing for brown trout is below Loosley Rd to Crooked Creek
