Crane Prairie has been a bit up and down. Some days are excellent, others not so much. The trend recently seems to be towards more good days though. The good days fish have been coming on balanced leeches, red and tan worms, two-bits, tailwater tinies, and zebra midges. Always fun to fish your flies under a big foam dry rather than an indicator in case you find any fish looking up but indicators are fine too. Stripping buggers, damsels, and leeches on a sinking line is also a good way to cover water and find some willing fish.
