The release from Lost Creek Reservoir is 1,050 cfs and the temperature at release is 45F.
The focus on the upper Rogue continues to be summer steelhead and trout fishing. Summer steelhead are still moving into the upper river. This week 48 new summer steelhead entered the hatchery collection pond, bringing the total for the hatchery run to date to 2,346 fish. Cole River also collected the first hatchery coho salmon of the year this week. Anglers must avoid disturbing spawning Chinook.
